Thai police confirmed the message’s falsity, revealing it as a manipulated version of Alonso’s official Instagram account designed to deceive fans. Emphasizing that Alonso’s appointment as Liverpool manager is yet to be confirmed, authorities urged supporters to stay calm and avoid falling victim to the scam.
